Whenever our customer/user accesses our travel website, he/she should accept the general terms & conditions. It is the responsibility to be familiar with the following mentioned points & prohibitions. This is an agreement between the customer and our agency.
Booking Acceptance & Mode of Payments
- We accept your booking at any time throughout the year, but 7 days prior to departure.
- Reservation/Booking will be confirmed only on 30% advance payment of the total package amount.
- Booking/Reservation after 7 days prior to departure is dependent on availability.
Payment Terms
- 30% at the time of booking on total package cost amount.
- 60% at the time of boarding, collected by our representative.
- 10% rest balance amount will be collected by the driver as per requirements.
- Service tax is payable by the customer/guest on total amount of package cost, as per government service tax slab.
Trips & Charges
- Travelling distance will be calculated from outlet to outlet.
- Any type of parking, toll & gate entry are payable by the guest.
- A/C & heater will remain turned off during hill area traveling & stopped vehicles.
Cancellation Charges
- If the traveler cancels the entire trip before 30 days, Rs 500 will be charged, and the rest amount will be refunded.
- If the traveler cancels the trip before 15 days, then Rs 50% will be charged.
- If the traveler cancels the trip before 7 days, then Rs 75% will be charged.
- If the traveler cancels the trip after 7 days prior to departure, then no amount will be refunded.
Cancellation by Intrepid
We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability, or other external events that make it unviable to operate the tour. For cancellation of booking, we refund your booking amount within 30 days.
Change of Itinerary
If you change any tour itinerary, kindly inform us at least 30 days prior to traveling.
Prohibitions
Passengers are requested not to carry the following articles inside the vehicle and as part of their luggage:
- Any type of corrosive or dangerous chemicals or materials.
- Any type of sharp items, guns, liquid bleach, tear gas, fuel, black powder.
- Any type of appliances, machinery & car parts, furniture, silverware, tire & power tools.
Complaints & Jurisdiction
If you have any complaints about the trip, driver, or staff behavior, kindly inform us. We will try to rectify the matter for your satisfaction. Only the courts of Guwahati shall have jurisdiction in any proceedings relating to this contract.
Driver Rights
The driver reserves the right to cancel the service in case of:
- If passengers instruct & ask to break through traffic rules and laws.
- If passengers smoke & consume alcohol inside the vehicle during traveling and abuse the driver.
- The driver reserves the right to drive the vehicle on a safe route to reach the destination and will not follow any passenger instruction that compromises safety.
- If passengers instruct the driver to take overload & extra persons.
- If passengers instruct the driver to drive the car at high speeds beyond controlling power.
Agency Limitations & Liabilities
We render our services sincerely to the guests/customers. Our driver and staff are well-trained and maintain their duty professionally. All vehicles are kept in good condition for service; however, we check the vehicle mechanically before starting the journey.
We are not responsible for any delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to natural disasters, accidents, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, closures/blockades due to political unrest, or any such incidents. We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to persons and goods due to accidents, fire, breakdown of transport, machinery equipment, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, or any other causes.
We do not cover any insurance policy & claims to our customers & passengers for accidents, death, sickness, loss, damage by any other reason.
